Booked into this campground after checking out Crescent Head Caravan Park and Campground and then all the other individual campgrounds on the road south from Crescent Head until we arrived at Waves. We had finally found the right spot to spend our 4 nights we had planned. Spacious campsites, not side by side like Crescent Head. Plenty of space around and between sites. Lots of lovely trees and wildlife. A lovely beach across the road although not patrolled but there is a rocky outcrop where it would be relatively safe for kids to get wet. Reception keeps some basic food items in-case of emergencies, and also ice, fishing and surfing gear including bait, and an ice-cream freezer. One addition which might be worth consideration would be some long life milk. This is a perfect place to get away from city living and just relax. We even decided to stay an extra night. Kit was an amazing host and so passionate about his campground - you can feel the love. We will be back, most definitely.

Fabulous campground. You feel like you're really in the bush surrounded by the flora and fauna. The staff were more than lovely and accommodating. Good showers and lots of activities in and out of camp.

We love this place. heaps of wave about and very good sized camp sites. It is much more quiet compared to Crescent head camp and a bit far to coffee in the morning. However this is made up for by the amenities and the vibe. great spot.

We had a lovely 2 day stay here. Small powered area, not for large caravans as no turning circle, low trees and branches and very small sites. Facilities could do with a thorough clean. Lots of young female backpackers who stay in dorm type accommodation. Bore water in showers and loos. Some rain water for drinking. Small cafe on site only open certain hours. Was very peaceful and relaxing during our stay.

Just stayed 6 nights. $10 per night per adult, unpowered site, short walk to beach, hot showers, clean flushing toilets, shaded camp sites which was protected from the wind. Hot food and snacks available at office, can’t go wrong.
