This is heaven on earth. People travel here from all over the world to stay, swim & surf. The creek is a great spot for kiddies & adults alike to swim. New comers just be aware that this is a tidal creek. Depth varies and changes regularly with tides & sand movement. Always watch young children closely as we sometimes get the odd big surge coming into the creek on an incoming tide. Especially when the swell is large. Over the years I have seen many a young child get knocked over or swept away in a strong surge. They are there happy playing 1 minute and gone the next. You would be surprised at how many parents don't realise the potential for danger. Just before, during & just after the top of the tide is best time for snorkeling when the water is clear.

The noise from the Tavern can be excessive, do not camp backing onto road opposite tavern. They share their music with the whole township, avoid weekends. Previous review. They have permanent shade cloth pads for your annexe or tent. Saves a lot of setting up for us oldies. Also we are very grateful for the pensioner discount allowing us to enjoy this great location & support local businesses.

Standard issue park with 5 star beach and easy walk to club or pub for great food and drink.
